The resilient communities of Bille Kingdom faces a critical challenge. Contaminated water sources have cast a long shadow over their daily life, fueling the spread of preventable waterborne diseases such as viral hepatitis, cholera, dysentery, typhoid, and chronic diarrheal infections.
Today, in Touma, Oruama, Imopeleama, Krikama and Kariam settlements of Bille Kingdom, over half of the population is affected—children, parents, elders, and even visitors. But there is hope.
Rotary Club of Port Harcourt Blue Ocean is appealing to compassionate donors to support a transformative project: the installation of a solar-powered borehole system that will provide safe, clean drinking water for this five communities of Bille Kingdom. This sustainable solution will drastically reduce illness, improve overall well-being, and uplift the lives of those who call Bille Kingdom home.
With your support, we can spark lasting change—one drop at a time.
